Skiing at Badger Pass Part I of II
Are you ready to hit the slopes? Beginners to advanced skiers wanted to come and play. There are a variety of slopes for everyone to enjoy. The skiing season usually runs from the middle of December until late March, depending on the weather. The temperatures range between 30 degrees to a delightful 60 degrees. Badger Pass is one of California’s oldest running ski resorts. It is a lovely resort that is perfect for families.
The ski resort is open daily from 9 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. They offer customized fun classes for the little ones (4 to 6 years old). Eighty five percent of the slopes are designed for beginner to intermediate skier’s skills. You can also try your hand, or shall I say your feet, at snow boarding.
For a one day pass you will receive your lift ticket, a choice of ski’s or snow board, a group lesson and a tubing session. Can’t beat that kind of deal! The cost for an adult is $49 if purchased through the website and $59 if purchased at Badger Pass. Children are $29 if purchased through the website and $39 if purchased at Badger Pass. Some blackout dates do apply, so call in advance. A seven day package can be purchased as well. The great news is that you can upgrade the seven day package to an Annual Yosemite Park Pass for FREE. If you are traveling to the Yosemite area, don’t forget to check out the “Come Stay N’ Play in Yosemite” deal that is available online. Many of the surrounding hotels offer free transportation to the resort.
Part II of this post will be continued on Wednesday.
